Lucy’s work programme aims to enhance the biodiversity and ecosystem services benefits from the proposed REDD+ mechanism under the UNFCCC. Since joining UNEP-WCMC in 2012, she has also been working on policy advice for protected areas and biofuels. Previously Lucy worked in Mozambique, Zambia, South Africa, Tanzania and Kenya giving technical input to community conservation projects. She has an MSc in Applied Conservation and Ecology from University of East Anglia and a BA in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford. She loves hiking, picnics and dancing.
