Dead planet, living planet: Biodiversity and ecosystem restoration for sustainable development identifies thousands of ecosystem restoration projects worldwide and showcases over 30 initiatives that are transforming the lives of communities and countries across the globe.

  3. UK National Ecosystem Assessment (UK NEA) – Progress and Steps Towards Delivery

    Hilary Benn, the Secretary of State for Defra, launched the UK NEA’s Progress and Steps Towards Delivery brochure at a Defra event on 22 February. The brochure summarises the achievements of the UK NEA in its first nine months, including the development of the methodology, and outlines the next stages in the assessment process in preparation for the release of the final report in February 2011.
